IFC Office in Jakarta now is seeking to recruit:

Legal Specialist (Based in Jakarta)

The successful candidate will:

1. Advise in the development of a draft amendment to the Law no.9/2006 for the performance guarantee mechanism;
2. Support the development of institutional structure, and standard operating procedures (SOP) for management of indemnity funds operation;
3. Support international expert to conduct wrap-up trainings/workshops/seminars for stakeholders on the indemnity funds operation; and
4. Prepare comprehensive reports covering feedback from workshops’ participants, and key recommendations for the next implementation phase.

Selection Criteria:

1. At least 10 (ten) years of relevant legal experience;
2. In-depth understanding on Warehouse Receipt system based on the law no.9, 2006;
3. A Bachelor degree in Law;
4. Demonstrated track record in developing policies or regulations especially for the financial sector;
5. Sound knowledge of indemnity funds specifically for performance guarantee mechanism
6. Excellent written and oral presentation in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
