We are currently recruiting for a Multi National Oil and Gas company based in South East Asia.
Community Development
Responsibilities:
Provides general and technical information related to various aspects of community relations activities; provides field and/or technical assistance to staff and performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Coordinates and performs assistance in a variety of administrative functions related to various assigned Community Development programs and projects; maintains records and statistics; processes payments.
- Provide assistance in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of community development programs.
- Provide assistance in conducting research on community development programs.
- Assist CD Coordinator in facilitating stakeholder dialogues.
Essential Qualifications
- S1 graduate of Community Development-related degree (Sociology, Anthropology or Social Science).
- Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded.
- Preferable experiences in Oil & Gas Industry or NGO.
- Sound understanding/familiarity with community development areas.
- An understanding of meetings protocols, knowledge of the preparation of agenda’s and taking of minutes desirable.
Any other positional considerations
- Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and audiences.
- High level communication and written in Bahasa and English.
- Effective time management, planning and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadline.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Possess cultural awareness and demonstrate work ethics.
- Ability to work individually with minimum supervision
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Flexibility and adaptable with a busy work environment with competing demands.
- The position will have to spend long hours in the field, which also involves very frequent traveling within Madura Island, Pasuruan Area and Madura Island-Surabaya or any other company’s Operations area.
