Assistant Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day to day operation of the laboratory
• Ensure timely processing and storage of all cord blood units
• Identify and recommend process development/ improvements in processing and storage of cord blood units
• Responsible for competency testing and ensure adherence to documented procedures and protocols
• Ensure adherence to lab and regulatory requirements
• Maintain safe and clean working environment in the lab
• To be the speaker for internal and public talks, if necessary

Requirements:
• Bachelor in Science/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology or other related life sciences disciplines
• Relevant quality assurance and regulatory compliance experience
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Ability to lead and motivate lab staff
• At least 3-5 years of hands-on and related experience or industry
• Experience in the use of sterile technique
• Experience in processing of umbilical cord blood would be an advantage
