VACANCY
We, GCL Capital, is establishing a joint venture company in Indonesia for mining of lateritic nickel ore and organizing the future development of a 50,000 tpa nickel pig iron smelting facility. The target nickel mine is located close to Sorowako, a town in south Sulawesi, with a total mining area of approximately 8,000 Ha. The location of the target mine is very close to the mining & smelting facilities of PT Inco.
Currently there are two management executive vacancies. The following are the job descriptions:
1. Chief Geologist
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the exploration work of target nickel mine, includes but not limited to: design & planning of exploration work, exploration schedule & budget; corresponding with local shareholders on exploration related issues; evaluating other potential nickel mining related investment opportunities; corresponding with 3rd party mining consultant to confirm the amount of nickel resource & reserves.
Requirements:
- The candidate would hold at least one degree in Geology or related subjects; The candidate should have been participating or leading at least one lateritic nickel mine exploration project.
- Fluent communication in both Indonesian & English.
- Candidate would prepare to work long term in Soroako of Indonesia.
2. Head of mining operations
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the mining work of target nickel mine, includes but not limited to: design & planning of mining work, related schedule & budget; overseeing and supervising the mining schedule and cost; corresponding with local shareholders & mining contractors on building or mining related issues.
Requirements:
- The candidate would hold at least one degree in Geology or related subjects; The candidate should have been participating or leading at least one lateritic nickel mine mining project.
- Fluent communication in Indonesian and English.
- Candidate would prepare to work long term in Sorowako of Indonesia.
