Commercial Segment is an important growth segment for HP Indonesia. Currently, this segment accounts for a significant percentage of country revenue, and this percentage share will increase. Commercial Segment in Indonesia is tasked to grow HP’s wallet share in a list of 150 accounts.
Job Description
We seek a Commercial Segment Manager, who has been a proven contributor as a sales leader in a high performance sales team. The person must lead in crafting, planning and executing growth strategies for our Commercial business in Indonesia. This person must be a hands-on and engaged, with the ability to lead, coach and mentor a small team of Commercial Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives. He must also be able to effectively leverage on our partner community to provide broad coverage of these commercial accounts. The raison d’etre for this person is to engage senior business and IT personnel within our customer organization, lead our technology partners in the ecosystem, to grow sustainable relationships and business in the commercial segment. We seek a professional with strong sales skills, and understands the typical business and IT issues, and how these are addressed through various technology solutions
Qualifications
The candidate must be able to furnish credentials and establish a proven track record in the key qualification criteria as listed hereunder.
* Must have a bachelors or equivalent degree, although post-graduate management qualification is more desired.
* Ten or more years of successful sales experience with a technology company, with at least three years of people management experience.
* At least 3 years experience working with infrastructure solutions partners, especially in the Commercial segment, preferably as a sales professional.
* Early career experience in working within a telecom service provider or a network equipment provider company, would be an added qualification.
* Core technical skills of strategic selling, account management, budget control, contractual negotiation and opportunity development.
* Interface with industry ecosystem partners to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solution development.
* Establish a professional working relationship (up to executive level) with the customer, and develop a core understanding of their unique business needs.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, as is the ability to simply translate complex technical pitch into meaningful business communications to senior stakeholders.
* Experience in a complex organization to foster cooperation and collaboration within virtual sales teams, local people, regional staff and external partners.
* Must be self driven, goal oriented and extremely competitive.
