REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION
- Information systems for maintenance Management. Knowledge of maintenance management software tools (AMOS, SAP, MAXIMO, UNISUP, Data Stream, Primavera ERP, etc.).
- Predictive maintenance techniques. Knowledge and application of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring using vibration monitoring and other non-destructive Testing System such as thermography.
- Spare parts management. Knowledge of Spare Parts Management, Client Supply Chain Workflow (PR/ PO/ requisition, FAT/SAT, etc.) and warehouse management principles.
- Comm, Start-Up and Op Electrical Activities. Experience on main Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, Maintenance and Troubleshooting activities on Electrical Distribution and Electrical Generation systems.
- Project technical documents. Ability to read and interpret technical project documents such as isometrics, standards for supports, P&IDs, piping arrangements, plot plants, alignment sheet. Ability to identify possible issues in the documentation and to promptly take corrective actions.
- Electrical & HVAC Maintenance. Knowledge of maintenance, installation, modification, troubleshooting, testing and repairing for heating system, ventilating and air-conditioning equipment and energy management control systems. Knowledge of conditions-monitoring report analysis in order to identify potential electrical and HVAC failure and improvement opportunities. Ability to apply all techniques to achieve high systems reliability through the execution of safe and efficient maintenance practices and procedures. Ability to manage and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment. Ability to analyse malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, HVAC system, motors, relays, switches, lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replacing damaged or broken components. Capability to identify and propose improvements or modifications to the plant in order to enhance its reliability.
- Maintenance Management. Capability to lead a world-class maintenance department or project using planning and scheduling best practices to drive work execution, using motivational and time-management techniques to improve maintenance worker productivity. Build and sustain a maintenance program establishing an appropriate maintenance KPIs and visual management dashboard. Capability to implement work management strategies that improve asset availability and utilization. Ability to estimate Cost-Time-Resources for any maintenance activity and to manage an effective maintenance budget.
- Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting. Capability to perform Root Cause Analysis in case of accident/incident events in order to support the investigation team. Knowledge and capability to perform troubleshooting with a systematic approach to problem solving to find correct issues in complex machines, instruments, electronics, computers and software system.
- Electrical maintenance execution. Knowledge of electrical systems. Capability to carry out electrical inspections and maintenance and analyse electrical breakdowns.
- Electronic maintenance execution. Knowledge of electrical systems. Capability to carry out electrical inspections and maintenance and analyse electrical breakdowns.
- HSE risk management. Knowledge of criteria, standards, main techniques and methodologies for hazards identification during work execution, occupational risk assessment and evaluation. Knowledge of related control measures including the hierarchy of controls. Knowledge of safety cases and safety critical elements (including Management of Change and SIMOPS).
- Personnel management. Capability to manage personnel under his/her responsibility including training and coaching.
- Project quality activities. Capability to coordinate the project Quality activities through definition and monitoring of implementation by Project team of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures, guaranteeing compliance with contractual requirements and ISO 9001 Standard.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Ensure safe commissioning, start-up and maintenance execution of Electrical equipment, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std.
- Supervise the execution of electrical works, both performed by subcontractors or with direct hiring
- Set and promote Leadership in Safety attitudes
- Bring leadership and supervision and provide support to team members in terms of technical and individual performance capability
- Be responsible for supporting the close out of any gaps in the competency standards for all team members
- Commissioning and Start-Up Execution
- Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements
- Actively contributes to Safety Walkdown. Prepares incident reports and contributes to investigations
- Approves work permits during his shift as per procedure to enable the execution of scheduled works. Ensures the works are conducted in compliance with approved safety and quality standards
- Identifies, reports and follow up risks within his area of responsibility
- Identifies and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel and the environment
- Supervises the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Start-up activities according to the approved procedures and issue reports
- Supports the specialists and the Vendors for the execution of the activities
- Coordinates the Electrical Sub-Station with the Process Area
- Maintenance Execution
- Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules
- Plan Preventive and Corrective Maintenance operations (routine and short-term)
- Coordinate all Contractor personnel for the smooth execution of the services
- Maintenance planning
- Anticipate, plan and request the logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, taking into account the various constraints when planning and carrying out operations
- Take part of site coordination meetings
- Ensure the Preparation of Maintenance reports for submission to Company
- Ensure the movement of spare parts according to the requirements of Maintenance operations
- Check and validate all technical reports in CMMS and ensure work history is comprehensively recorded in line with CMMS data quality requirements
- Carry out appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations and, if necessary, on difficulties encountered
- Ensure the Contractor Personnel complete and record all handovers (daily, weekly and rotation)
- • Technical Support/Methods
- Ensure the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures employed by the crews and, if necessary, suggests improvements
- Ensure coordination between maintenance Operations and Preparation teams
- Keep an up-to-date list of works that cannot be performed except during inspections of machines or shutdowns
- Keep files of requests for studies of modifications and improvements
- Suggest corrective measures if a Maintenance backlog could become unmanageable
- Maintain a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, with close relationship with other sections, in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations
- Team Leading, be responsible for the team on site, specifically:
- Organize the rotation schedules of the team
- Identify the training needs of the team and make training requests as appropriate
- Propose all necessary adjustments related to the Nationalization plan
- Propose appraisal and Competence assessment for the staff
- Set expectations, coach and mentor technicians with regards to acceptable attitudes and behaviours
- HSE
- Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions
- Ensure the correct behaviour of the team in accordance with the general safety regulations of the subsidiary and, if needed, take the necessary corrective measures
- Ensure all necessary controls to mitigate risks and/or eliminate hazards
- Performance monitoring via regular observation of working practices, assessing compliance with safe systems of work and work instructions
