We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
EQUIPMENT MANAGER
Plan, direct and monitor maintenance activities in all project sites to ensure company s plant and equipments are available and in optimum condition for supporting company s field operation efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Excellent English skills – spoken, written and presentation.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years experiences in maintenance / heavy equipment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff in the organization.
- Must be proficient in excel, power point and report preparation & presentation.
- Must be team oriented, self motivated and possess the ability to priorities work.
- Requires the ability to coordinate own efforts such that they meet business deadlines.
- May be required to travel to mining projects and overseas from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Direct, maintain, improve and monitor a predictive scheduled and planned maintenance culture within company in conjunction with maintenance planning superintendent and instigate appropriate response to trend variances in order to meet the best possible equipment availability target.
- Monitor and control BMP compliance throughout the maintenance function in order to implement the uniformity maintenance practices and consistency approach to all site.
- Develop and implement a rebuild and capital schedule to instigate a rebuild program that is coordinated with both vendors and projects to ensure they are performed and auctioned in a timely manner with minimum disruption to production.
- Coordinate and provide resources to sites for completion of maintenance events that over tax resources.
- Ensure workshops are tooled with the necessary skills and resources in order to effectively implement work.
- Ensure plant deployed onto project is delivered in the most reliable possible condition and plant on the disposal line is in a condition that optimizes recovery of residual value at sale in order to deliver the best return of investment.
- Monitor and control maintenance capital expenditure and compliance to maintain budget efficiency.
- Review and upgrade PM work and schedules with assistance of Control and Planning Superintendent as a consequence of FMEA in order to minimize the durations of repair (MTTR) and mean time between failures (MTBF).
- Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
