Legal Counsel (In House)
PT Gemala Borneo Utama is the Indonesian subsidiary of Robust Resources Limited, an Australian gold exploration company listed on the ASX. We are seeking to recruit an experienced legal counsel for our legal department. This will be a standalone position.
Expected key responsibilities of the role:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and legal issues.
- Identifying, managing and mitigating legal risks across the company.
- Implementing best practice legal processes to manage risks within the company.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Government laws & regulations.
- Provide accurate advice and recommendations to the senior management team in regards to legal issues.
Essential requirements:
- Degree qualified in law with appropriate memberships.
- Preferably have at least 5-7 years Indonesian mining experience, particularly in minerals.
