PRESSURE VESSEL SUPERINTENDENT
Job Purpose
Responsible for coordinating QA/QC supervision at pressure vessel construction sites and inspection at vendor premises and shall be performing in compliance by Project Technical Specification and Project Quality objectives.
Activities
- To coordinate the project construction activities in each discipline (piping, structure, pipeline with sound technical justification of painting inspection) in order to ascertain the product will be built as per drawings, specification, procedures and schedule.
- To coordinate the activities of NDT Supervisor, QA/QC Welding Supervisor, Painting Supervisor, Material Supervisor in back to back organization, (if these positions are available).
- To ensure that all QA/QC activities are carried out according to the approved QA/QC manuals and procedures.
- To assist the PJC management team to ensure Compliance with Company Safety objectives throughout the life of the project.
- To review QA/QC procedures, including Inspection and Test Plans, developed by CTR in regards with QA/QC Inspection coordinator.
- To ensure the review and accept WPS on site by third party and certifying authorities,
- To coordinate Vendor premises and Yard QA/QC activities, such as WQPT and WQT with support of SPV.
- To be able to approve the WQPT and sign the WPQR.
- To supervise inspection activities as per Inspection and Test Plans and witness time to time FAT and inspections. To coordinate with project team, inspection activities related to Inspection and Test Plans.
- To follow up site engineering queries during the procurement and construction phases of EPSC contracts and ensure the feedback to PJC/ENG. To ensure that subsequent actions are well implemented by Vendor.
- To provide technical assistance on Vendor queries on site.
- To provide NDT assistance/expertise to Vendor.
Minimum Qualification / Experience
- Engineering degree from recognize university.
- Graduated from welding engineering school or certified senior welding inspector (minimum Level II) from a recognized institution. (PCN level III recommended (or COFREND equivalent), CSWIP level IN accepted and ASNT level III only accepted for Structural/Piping job). In house certifications are not accepted.
- > 10 years of relevant international assignment experience in Oil and Gas sector for engineering in the discipline.
- NDT UT/RT experiences and theory knowledge in pressure vessel construction.
- Recognized level of expertise in Safety, contractor management with specific knowledge of welding engineering.
- Good communication skill.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Proficient with Oil and Gas International Codes and Standards for the discipline.
NDT SUPERVISOR
Job Purpose
Responsible for review and acceptance of the Non Destructive Testing according to the requirement from codes, standards and COMPANY specifications.
Activities
- To assist the QA/QC SPDT on the review and acceptance of the NDT on site.
- To warn and to alert Project construction team (CSR, Piping SPDT, QA/QC SPDT) in case of non conformance or discrepancies of NDT reports.
- To supervise data integrity of the NDT to be performed as per requirements.
- To report every end of day to QA/QC SPDT on welding inspection progress.
Minimum Qualification / Experience
- Technical degree from a recognized University in the discipline.
- PCN level II recommended (or COFREND equivalent), CSWIP level II accepted and ASNT level II only accepted for Structural/Piping job.
- > 6 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas sector (continuous activity required in this discipline).
- Recognized level of expertise in Safety, contractor management with specific knowledge of welding engineering.
