Port Engineer

• Required age: maximum 50 years old.
• Education- Higher with specialization in “hydraulic engineering” (“civil engineering”)
• General professional experience in “hydraulic engineering” (design, construction, operation of ports “- not less than 10 years
• Expertise: construction of hydraulic (mooring) structures -methods of calculation and basis of design, marine hydraulic structures construction technology, construction site organization, basis of cost estimating and budgeting, basis of freight operation technology, procurement of construction equipment and materials, operation of hydraulic structures
• English language proficiency: for Russian specialists: technical language – fluently, general language- upper intermediate; for Indonesian specialists­ fluently
• Knowledge of ASTM, DIN, UIC, Rostest standards
• Proficiency in the following professional IT tools: AUTOCAD, ArCAD, specialized professional software.
• Knowledge in general IT: MS – advanced user
• Skills in PMI methodology of project management, knowledge of PMBOK fundamentals
• Readiness and capability to participate in on-site work. Experience in supervision and control of completeness, technology and quality of the construction works.
• Work location: Republic of Indonesia (Jakarta, Balikpapan, within the province of East Kalimantan)
• Physical fitness and health: ability to perform the duties under the conditions of the host country, absence of allergic reactions to tropical plants and environmental conditions
• Organizational skills, ability to conduct professional discussions and negotiations with a reasoned defense of the employers interests
• Communication skills, breadth of professional and general vision
• Willingness and desire to improve the level of professionalism and to master new knowledge, adequate professional and career ambitions
