QH&S Manager – Surface processing and underground mining operation Sumatra, Indonesia.
PT Natarang Mining is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced professional to flit the above position required for their Way Linggo, gold / sillier underground mining project
The role of this new position is to manage alt aspects of OH&S and Environmental issues for the 400 man accommodation camp, process plant, mobile and underground mining (electric / air equipment. Reporting to the Operations Manager the OHS Manager is responsible for the development and Implementation of the company s occupational health end safety management programs designed to editions industry beat practice. The successful candidate will have bean in a similar position in the mining/resources Industry for a period of at least 8 years.
Also must have sound experience in all aspects of underground mine safety including ventilation systems and testing. Must be able to demonstrate in his CV that he has strengths in;
Ensuring QH&S and environmental company requirements era implemented and maintained
- Promoting the understanding of safety, health end risk assessment in the workplace;
- Conducting end reviewing risk assessment activities with a locus on identifying and pursuing risk reduction opportunities;
- Compiling and submitting accident reports required by statutory authorities;
- Monitoring safety standards, regulation and legislation and beet practice in occupational health and safety;
- Ensuring continual improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety with all team members.
- Hazard reduction and accident / incident investigation procedures.
This position is based on 4 week and 2 week oft FIFO roster.
