Residence Chef

The U.S. Mission to ASEAN in Jakarta has a vacancy for the Ambassador’s Residence Chef. S/He is responsible for planning menus according to the employers’ needs and dietary restrictions, shop for and/or order food and kitchen supplies and equipment, prepare meals according to employers’ recipes or tastes, and handle all meals for the family and possibly for other household staff. Five years cooking experience required and formal training desired. The candidate will direct the operation and organization of kitchen and all food-related activities including planning and preparing food for parties, holiday meals, luncheons and special functions
