Transworld Exploration Limited, a dynamic international energy company is looking for candidates, possessing leadership potential to join our multi-disciplinary exploration team, based in Jakarta, Indonesia for the following position:
Senior Exploration Geologist
Duties & Responsibilities of the position include:
– Supervise and coordinate the geological activities on company operated and non-operated assets in Indonesia, Asia-Pacific region and internationally.
– Be responsible for all geological interpretation work – including defining prospects & lead inventories and to define reserve calculations and economics on our Indonesian concessions and any new ventures.
– Define, specify and manage any geological projects.
– Interface, when required, with various Indonesia regulatory bodies in order to submit reports and gain timely governmental approvals.
– The Senior Geologist is expected to be a hand-on person being involved in any sequence stratigraphy, geochemical, petrophysical or regional interpretation work.
– Preparation & implementation of cost estimates, AFE s, Work Program & Budgets, technical and reserve economics reports.
– Responsible for the day to day Geological requirements.
– Interface with company and specialist third-parties specialists to ensure geological activities are consistent with company objectives.
The successful candidate will:
– An Indonesian Citizen, domiciled in Jakarta.
– Possess relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree.
– Demonstrate a minimum six years experience in a similar role.
– Have a proven capability to work independently, under pressure.
– Have well developed organisation and operational skills.
– Have proven strong verbal and written English communication skills
