SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGERĀ – ELECTION PROGRAM
The position will be responsible for managing AusAID’s investments to support free, fair and participatory elections in Indonesia. Following the 2014 national elections, the position will manage a review of AusAID’s electoral assistance in Indonesia and advise AusAID on relevant policy and program implications flowing from this. The position will work as part of a unit led by AusAID Jakarta’s First Secretary for Justice and Democratic Governance within AusAID’s broader governance and social development team.
SENIOR PUBLIC AFFAIR OFFICER
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 7-years experience in media or communications and a good knowledge of development to fill this position. The Senior Public Affairs Officer will assist the Public Affairs Manager to respond to media inquiries and provide strategic advice on fast moving media issues, including disaster response. The officer will also contribute to the development and implementation of public diplomacy plans and will establish and maintain good networks with the media. The officer will, exercise a high degree of initiative and independent judgement.
Exceptional English skills are required for this position, which will be locally engaged and based in the Jakarta Office.
