PT. Minorco Services Indonesia (PT. MSI) which is wholly owned subsidiary of Anglo American plcand has an office in Sorong, Papua Barat, Indonesia is currently conducting mineral exploration activities in Papua Barat region of Indonesia.
SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR
PT. Minorco Services Indonesia has a vacancy for a Site Safety Supervisor who will primarily facilitate the implementation of PT.MSI s SHE Management System and compliance to SHE Management System requirements of its Mineral Exploration Program in Papua Barat, Indonesia.
The Site Safety Supervisor who will be based on site, will work with the management team, contractors, geologists, field supervisor and Papuan employees in implementing the SHE Management System including in hazard identification and risk assessments, compliance to SHE legal requirements, conduct of site-based SHE training, implementation of operational risk control measures including contractor control, conduct of site inspection, audits and behavioral observations, conduct of SHE monitoring and measurement activities, investigation of incidents, implementation of SHE communication and consultation systems and in ensuring SHE documentation, records and data control The Site Safety Supervisor will be working on a 5 weeks on and 2.5 weeks off rotation.
The applicant for this position must have at Least 5 years of solid experience in SHE Management System development and implementation or compliance to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards and knowledgeable on SHE legal requirements in Indonesia. The applicant must be fluent in written and spoken and must have considerable experience working in remote areas particularly in the region of Papua Barat.
