CIDA Contracting Opportunity
The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is currently seeking three individual consultants to provide short-term technical cooperation to the Government of Indonesia on certain issues related to licensing in the mining sector. The required consultant profiles are:
1. Team Leader, Extractive Sector Expert
With ten years’ experience in mining sector licensing, and environmental governance for the extractive sector in Indonesia
2. Decentralization Expert, with seven years’ experience working in governance issues related to decentralization in Indonesia, preferably with licensing authorities.
3. Social Conflict Expert, with seven year’s experience working in social conflict analysis or conflict resolution in the resource sector in Indonesia.
The project will occur over a period of six months in 2012. All three consultants must be able to work as a team to provide the deliverables. Minimum experience includes post-graduate qualifications and requisite experience in the relevant fields.
